Become A Volunteer

As a non-profit organization, North Metro Animal Care & Control needs the help of our community to provide the best possible care for the animals that come into our facility. Each animal that comes to us has it's very specific needs, some that greater than others.

Animals in our care may be with us for only a few hours up to a couple weeks depending on their circumstances, though our average stay for our cats and dogs is 8.5 days.

NMACC is looking for individuals willing to donate their time to help us better serve these animals during their stay here until they are either reclaimed by their owners or are able to find a rescue organization. Individuals with animal shelter or veterinary experience preferred but not required.
