Domestic Abuse Victim Boarding Assistance – This program operates to provide boarding for pets of domestic abuse victims who need to find a safe place but cannot take their pets with them. These victims can board their pets at reduced rates rather than leave them behind, keeping them at a potentially dangerous situations, or risk having to surrender to a shelter. To use this service, you must either have a responding Police Officer or Sheriff’s Deputy request our service or get a referral from a Domestic Abuse Shelter. We will work with you to determine a rate at which you are able to afford.

Pet Owner Assistance – This program is to provide financial assistance for elderly and low income families/individuals with: Emergency Vet Care, Pet Food, Pet Supplies and, in some circumstances, temporary boarding during a housing crisis.

Community Animal Emergency Response Team – This is a project in the early stages of development. We are working with local officials to create a team of trained animal handlers to respond to fires, accidents, severe weather events and other calamities involving animals. Once this program has fully come together, we will be able to provide additional resources to assist first responders, such as police, firefighters, and EMTs, with the rescue, evacuation, and sheltering of animals.

We believe that pets and people belong together for life. Sometimes people face challenges that make it difficult to care for and keep a pet. If you need assistance, please contact us and we will work with you to come up with a plan for whatever situation you are in.
