North Metro Animal Care and Control is the contracted Animal and Impound Services Provider for the City of Columbus, MN.
To request pick-up of a found animal, report a dog bite incident, or other issues concerning animals and public safety, please contact Anoka County Central Communications at 763-427-1212 or dial 911. On-Going issues concerning companion animals should be reported to City Officials at 651-464-3120.

The City of Columbus requires that all dogs over the age of 6 mos. of age to be vaccinated against rabies. However, no license is required.
